You'd never think an ordinary hotel banqueting suite could be transformed into a mystical, majestic masterpiece like this, but Kudos proved it possible once again!
Vinay & Minky's Mehndi night was an absolute pleasure for the Kudos Entertainment and the Kudos Theming team to be a part of, and as well as leaving both bride-to-be, groom-to-be and all their guests amazed we certainly did ourselves proud too.
Stepping into the room, the hustle and bustle of the London streets just outside almost immediately felt a million miles away as the Arabian ecstasy enticed everyone into its alluring trance. With starcloth always being a winner at a massive event like this, the Kudos Theming team starclothed the whole room so it twinkled away beautifully knowing it would create the base for needed for this creative and exotic theme.
We added Arabian themed murals to some of the walls bringing the sand and camels of an Arabian desert to the inside of the Heathrow Marriot hotel, while adding exquisitely crafted umbrellas, low seating and exquisite cushions to create the atmosphere of a truly Arabian restaurant. Finishing off the decor were many small, carefully chosen details to give the theme that final touch it needed, including Hookah pipes, indoor event palm trees and golden statues and figurines dotted all around. The overall effect was magnificent, with lots of tradition, culture and colour thrown together impeccably… it was breathtaking for everyone upon first glance and certainly kept everyone talking and admiring throughout the entire event.
The Kudos Music team provided the music and entertainment on the night with a full setup and four of our talented DJs present, making sure anyone and everyone present had an absolutely unforgettable time. With everyone dressed up tremendously in glorious, traditional Indian dress and dancing away all night on the dancefloor, the theme was truly complemented by a wonderful crowd making it one event that the Kudos team will certainly remember for a very long time!
We loved every single second of this Mehndi night and we were honoured to play the role of Genie for Vinay and Minky; let's hope they felt like Alladin and Princess Jasmine for that night anyway, and may all their future wishes be granted just as easily.
